New Feature Update: Custom Menu Plans can now be Edited

Okay, Scramblers, you asked for it and now you've got it. Your custom menus can now be edited and deleted. Please give this new feature a try and let me know if all goes smoothly before I announce it more widely in the newsletter. Thanks for your help! (And thank you, Sarah, for making this happen.)

Aviva,
I’m so glad to hear that you are working on fixing up the recipe box aspect of your website. Mine is a bit of a mess as I was learning how it worked. I have a menu that has way to many recipes. With the new delete option I can get rid of the menu but I cannot edit the menu, which is really what I want to do. I can remove the recipes I don’t want but I cannot then save the new menu. At this point my understanding is that I would have to delete and then completely start over. Seems that when one is at a menu being able to delete and or save would be the most helpful.

Just discovered this yesterday when I went to make my menu-- Whooohooo!!! I deleted all my "trash" menus and am already starting to build my box of best menus. Aviva may have already responded to you, Jen, and/or the fix may be a result of your post, but here's how the "edit" feature worked for me: open a saved custom menu. Click the search for recipes button. When you find the recipe, there's a button that says "Add to saved Plan." This will PERMANENTLY add the recipe to your plan. Shelley

PS...forgot to say that if I delete a recipe from my custom plan, the next time I open it, the recipe is gone. No need to "save." (Shelley)
