Need Recipe Feedback: Twisted Noodles with Broccoli and Peanut Sauce

Dear Scramblers, I need help--I get the conflicting feedback on this recipe, everything from fabulous to awful, and I want to know if you think it is Scramble-worthy. If you have made this recipe from Vol. 259, can you take a moment to comment here or send me a note at aviva@thescramble.com to let me know what you think? Thanks!

We have four people in our family. Two family members (one adult "foodie", and one child) think this meal is good enough/okay. One child does not like it. I LOVE it. I enjoy its easy prep, I love the taste, and happily eat the leftovers for the next day's lunch.

We also have mixed feedback. I think this is one of those recipes you either love or dislike - nothing in between! My husband loved it. I wasn't crazy about it. Thanks for asking for our input :-) We appreciate how much time and thought you put into making your menus.

I was very surprised that my 4-year-old daughter didn't like it as she loves pasta and she loves peanut butter. My husband and I LOVED it. My husband said it was one of his all-time favorite pasta dishes. My daughter really surprised me with this one because not only did she not like the pasta but she loved the cucumber side dish and she is not a veggie fan. This is definitely going to be a repeat dinner for us though and we'll give her plain pasta or some store-bought pasta sauce instead.

I thought my young daughters would like it because they like pasta, noodles, and broccoli, but only my 18-month-old would eat it; my 4- and 3-year-olds refused. My husband liked it, and I thought it was okay. I liked it better hot than I did cold for lunch the next day.

My husband and I enjoyed it, but ended up having to use half Skippy and half natural peanut butter. I think doing this made the recipe a bit watery. If we had used 100% Skippy PB it would have had a different taste, I think, probably sweeter. Nonetheless it was good and something we would repeat.

If using natural peanut butter- I wouldn't add as much hot water to thin it out.

I've tried this recipe twice now, and while I usually love noodles with peanut sauce, I didn't find this one to be particularly good. I was unable to get the sauce right no matter the adjustments I made. It will not be one that I repeat. But the nice thing about the new website is that if you can't (or don't) use a recipe for a particular week there is always PLENTY to choose from!

You know I love most all Scramble recipes! But I also had mixed reviews with this one. No one really complained (except me), but there was something about the consistency once mixed that didn't work. Also, it's really important to eat it HOT and immediately after mixing (which sometimes isn't possible) to get the best result. I would tweak it before making it again.

As written I thought the recipe was bland. I adjusted the seasonings and ended up liking it. My boyfriend was not impressed.
